Mt. Olivet Cemetery is managed by a team of local professionals and volunteers who are committed to preserving the cemetery and serving families with compassion and care. Together, they oversee daily operations, long-term planning, and the stewardship of one of the West Shore’s most treasured community landmarks.

As General Manager, Sam works closely with families, pastors, funeral directors, and monument providers to coordinate burial services and ensure every detail is handled with care. He oversees the cemetery’s daily operations, grounds maintenance, and volunteer efforts.
A lifelong New Cumberland resident, Sam has deep family roots at Mt. Olivet and understands the importance the cemetery holds for local families. His leadership experience includes distinguished service with the U.S. Air Force, Appleton Paper Company, and the Starbucks Roasting Plant in York, where he developed the operational and management skills that continue to benefit Mt. Olivet today.
Sam is typically available at the cemetery on weekday mornings and welcomes questions by phone or email.
